A template you have to use

The team on one template

For: Teams with a brand template everyone has to use, and anyone handed a deck stitched from several colleagues' slides.
Brings: The .potx, and a deck with four blues, three fonts and titles at different heights.

Make every slide follow the template: the same title font, size and position, and our colours only.

rules.md, written once

Titles in sentence case. One chart per slide. No more than 20 words of body text.

It puts each title back where the layout wants it and swaps stray fonts and colours for the theme's, leaving the content alone. Write the house rules into the template's rules file once, and every deck made from it follows them, whoever's agent is working on it. Teammates join as editors or viewers and see who's on which slide, and the deck exports to PowerPoint looking the way it did on screen.

LimitOn a long deck this takes a while. Two people shouldn't type in the same text box at the same time.

Here's our pilot report. Make it a deck that keeps my headings and their order, one section per slide.

The structure you wrote becomes the deck's structure. Headings become slide titles in the order you wrote them, lists stay lists, and numbers become charts. Or save the deck as a template and reuse it.

LimitDocuments go in as pasted text. Chat attachments are images only.

Brings: The lesson deck, as a .pptx.

On every slide, bring the sentences in one at a time, and the answer last. Don't change the design.

Every sentence gets its own click, in reading order, in its own place, font and formatting. The answer comes last. Every slide gets the same treatment, and the design doesn't move. The builds export to PowerPoint as real animations.

LimitEvery build is a fade for now. No fly-ins or wipes yet.

For: Maths and science teachers who explain in stages.
Brings: A slide that shows everything at once.

Title first, then the formula, then the explanation, then the worked example. One click each, and stay on the slide until the example is up.

Each part arrives on its own click, and the slide waits for its last step before the deck moves on. The class follows the reasoning instead of reading ahead.

Six slides, modern and minimal. Two fonts, three colours, the key term big on each slide. On slide 3, make the hexagons slide in and lock together into a comb.

Few words, one idea per slide, the key term set large, a palette it keeps to. Shapes glide between slides with morph and assemble into the whole, in Rideful and in PowerPoint.

LimitMorph moves shapes between two slides. Paths and spins are not there yet.

Decks that are really pictures. Some tools export every slide as one full-bleed image. It looks finished, but there's no text to fix, nothing to move, nothing to animate, and you often don't find out until you try. Rideful notices, says so, and offers to rebuild the pictures as real slides: text, shapes and layout you can work on again.

Decks that are real .pptx files. These import as they are, and the deck you got somewhere else becomes one you can keep working on.

These slides are pictures, so there's no text I can change. I can rebuild them as editable slides, one first so you can judge it.

LimitA rebuild starts with one slide, takes a while per slide, and isn't pixel-perfect: fine decoration is approximated.
